Data Sources & Accuracy

Our Vendors uses public and third-party sources to provide procurement information, analysis, and insights. NYC Procurement Plans

Our Vendors uses NYC agency procurement plans as a source for certain products and insights. These plans describe anticipated contracting actions and are planning information that may change.

The City states that its FY2027 procurement-plan information is intended as a guide to currently planned procurement actions and may change with the City budget. Inclusion in a plan does not obligate an agency to proceed with a solicitation, follow the estimated timing or amount, or solicit the procurement at all.

Accordingly, procurement-plan information presented by Our Vendors should not be understood as a solicitation, contract award, eligibility determination, or guarantee of future procurement activity. Our Vendors is independent and does not influence City procurement decisions.

We do not endorse any specific vendors or their offerings. Listings in our directories represent our independent research and do not imply:

  • Official certification or approval
  • Guaranteed performance
  • Recommendation for specific contracts

Users are responsible for independently verifying vendors and their offerings before engagement.

Word-Is is an informational publication produced by Our Vendors using publicly available NYC payment data. Content is descriptive in nature and reflects observed payments during the stated reporting period. Word-Is does not provide legal, financial, procurement, or policy advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional judgment. Data is processed, aggregated, and classified using Our Vendors’ internal methodologies to improve readability and consistency; underlying source data may be revised by the originating agency.
